Latest iOS Update Makes iPhone Battery Worse

Users of the iPhone 4S, the latest iPhone from Apple, are facing problem with the battery that drains too fast, which it is not supposed to. As a response to this particular matter, Apple has promised that it will bring the latest update to the OS used on the iPhone device, the iOS 5.0.1.

Unfortunately, though, it seems that Apple has failed to keep its word. Very soon after the device was first launched back in October 14, 2011, complaints have been coming from most, if not all, of the iPhone 4S users. Yet, after the aforementioned update has been released, there are not few who state that they are facing even a more serious problem with the battery.

As quoted from computerworld.com, a user with the nickname Alessis even claims that the battery power decreases by 10% within every hour when in standby mode. Yet, when it is in use, the battery will decrease even more rapidly, around 1 to 2 percent within every single minute.

With that being said, there is no wonder that Apple's support forum is very likely to be full of complaints at the moment. As a matter of fact, some iPhone 4S users may have even been thinking of a refund.
